Speak With Process Engineers

We begin with technical discussion. Send your plant setup, planned throughput, and feedstock assumptions, and we will schedule a team working session. A sales presentation is not needed.

Writing to Us

Certainly. Early contact lets us recommend sensor locations and DCS design choices that reduce later integration work. We have supported design contractors through FEED (front-end engineering and design) on two projects, ensuring connectivity needs reached the instrument list before purchasing.
With current DCS equipment and reachable OPC-UA, commissioning takes four to six weeks: two weeks to establish the data pipeline and link the historian, two weeks to tune models using shadow-mode operating data, then one to two weeks of closed-loop testing alongside an operator. Legacy PLCs limited to Modbus-only connectivity require another two to four weeks for gateway setup and checks.
The system handles biomethanol made from agricultural or municipal solid waste, green e-methanol produced by CO2 hydrogenation, methanol from natural gas for transitional blending, plus mixtures of these fuels. Feedstock origin changes catalyst deactivation behavior and impurity makeup, so onboarding calibrates a separate model variant for each. Pathways not listed here need a calibration study, which we can define during an initial discussion.
Process data stays inside the operator's OT boundary. In the SaaS configuration, encrypted sensor streams go to a dedicated cloud enclave in the relevant region, with tenants kept separate. After commissioning, the on-premise option has no internet egress. Both configurations are designed to meet IEC 62443 Level 2 security requirements. Operators of critical infrastructure facing national cloud restrictions should choose on-premise. We can provide detailed security records under NDA upon request.
The present product covers only the MtJ (methanol-to-jet) route using SAPO-34 olefin oligomerization. It has not been validated for Fischer-Tropsch or power-to-liquid routes that use iron or cobalt catalysts. Their reaction kinetics and control structure differ. Operators developing or running an FT plant can contact us to discuss whether a later Metafuels product might fit the process.
